FAQ's
1. What testing is performed before solar modules are packaged?
Finished modules undergo comprehensive electrical, performance, and safety testing to ensure they meet required quality and performance standards. Rhine Solar also has the required certifications to maintain quality and reliability throughout the manufacturing process.
The key tests include:
- Flash Test / IV Curve Test – Measures voltage, current, maximum power (Wp), Voc, Isc, and module efficiency under standard test conditions.
- EL (Electroluminescence) Test – Detects microcracks, broken cells, inactive areas, and other internal defects.
- Insulation Resistance Test – Checks the electrical insulation between the module's circuit and frame.
- Hi-Pot / Dielectric Withstand Test – Ensures the module can safely withstand high voltage without electrical breakdown.
- Ground Continuity Test – Verifies proper grounding and electrical continuity between the module and its frame.
2. What makes a solar module manufacturing company in India actually reliable?
